Job Description

Job Summary:
The Shipping amp; Receiving Associate is responsible for preparing, staging, and shipping customer orders. This role includes operating a forklift, managing freight logistics, and supporting the packaging department to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities:

• Use a computer to get freight quotes and coordinate shipments.
• Palletize orders based on packing slips and wrap pallets using the machine wrapper.
• Label, stage, and prepare pallets for pickup.
• Contact freight companies to schedule pickups and load trucks with a forklift.
• Verify that the correct pallets are loaded on the correct trucks.
• Support the packaging team by providing boxes and mats needed for orders.
• Maintain organization and accuracy in the shipping area.

Requirements:

• Forklift experience required.
• Basic computer and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow shipping paperwork accurately.
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask.
• Shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
